Tango is bestowed the Honorable Mention of the 25th ADI Compasso d’oro award

The Wally design is once more awarded by ADI international jury

Milan, Italy – Established in 1954, ADI Compasso d’Oro Award is the oldest and most influential international design award. The biennial prize is awarded on the basis of a pre-selection made by ADI Permanent Observatory of Design, consisting of a commission of experts, designers, critics, historians, specialized journalists, all continuously engaged in collecting information year after year,  and in valuing and selecting the best products.

During the prize giving ceremony held today at the Castello Sforzesco in Milan, the winners of the XXV edition were unveiled: Tango, the fourth unit of Wallycento,  was awarded with the Honorable Mention of this major contest of design.“Tango turned out exactly how we envisaged her when we started developing the project: super sleek lines and aggressive overall appeal conveying her high performance DNA.” proudly says Luca Bassani, Wally President “The ADI Honorable mention validates the design choices that generated this superyacht, while confirming our brand hallmarks that made Wally a reference in the design world”.

Uniquely in the yachting world, it’s the fourth time that Wally is included in the winners list of ADI Compasso dOro: the Monegasque brand won the Compasso d’oro in 2004 with Tiketitoo and in 2008 with Ryokan 2, while Black Sails in 2011 and Tango today received the Honorable Mention. An exceptional achievement that places Wally in the international design Gotha.
